Helitrans’s technical department has its own authority approvals that look after airworthiness and the helicopter workshop at Værnes.

Most of the fleet’s comprehensive maintenance is carried out here, and in addition, technicians travel around the country at all bases and carry out “minor” maintenance, i.e. inspections and error correction (snag) that may occur during operation.

In addition, the technical department has its own warehouse and logistics department which serves its own fleet with the necessary spare parts, workshop and equipment.
